Room Configuration - If you require the room set up to be different than the default configuration, a Service Request will need to be made at your own expense to facilities and the room must be returned to its original state when your event is completed.
AV equipment - None of our rooms are equipped with AV equipment. All equipment needs to be ordered through Classroom Equipment Ordering (CEO) at your expense. http://ceo.yorku.ca/
A TUUS Form must be completed for the following:
-an event with a high profile or controversial external speaker or group.
-an event at which alcohol is being served.
-an event at which food is being served.
-an event open to the public (i.e., off-campus guests/visitors)
-an event where admission/registration fees are charged, or
-an activity that has any type of sponsorship by an external organization, such as financial or administrative support, donation of materials, etc.
TUUS policy for clubs wanting to book tech equipment for their events:
All Audio Visual requests are handled by the IT Department. Student Clubs that require IT must first obtain a TUUS permit for heir event, then, email their A/V requirement to ithelp@yorku.ca with a copy of the event permit attached. IT requires 7 business days to process requests.
Please note that IT can help students with their requests provided that the IT equipment is already built in the space booked for the event. For any specific or special requirement, students should direct their questions to the IT department directly.
